While players were warming up for the upcoming tournament, some of them enjoyed a beautiful barbecue with refreshments and ice-blocks that were available for all participants organised by ‘Family Sardar’ in a multicultural environment. The club tournament was followed by the Gala Award Ceremony at the Waverley College Theatre. After the beautiful recap and recognitions given, Mix Open Tournament followed up in the afternoon where we greeted everyone! Older Juniors had the opportunity to play shoulder to shoulder with Adults and learn more about this beautiful sport. Overall, there were 8 teams with over 60 participants coming from different parts of Sydney. As part of the celebration, ProVolley Academy had a mixed team of coaches called “Magicians“, which won the tournament. We would also like to thank everyone who participated, and we hope that next year there will be even more participants and more teams to compete!
